Context & Objectives
The goal was to create a simple, clear, and accessible website that empowers citizens to regain control over their personal data through practical tools and an educational approach.
The platform targets a B2C audience, with a strong focus on public awareness and digital rights.
Our Contribution
We designed and developed a user-centered digital platform focused on clarity, accessibility, and action, including:
- Website design and development
- UX/UI design for public-facing educational content
- Structuring actionable tools related to data protection and digital rights
Challenges
- Designing a pedagogical and engaging public interface capable of simplifying complex legal concepts related to GDPR
- Highlighting concrete user actions: analyzing, retrieving, or deleting personal data, exercising legal rights, and reporting abusive telemarketing
- Ensuring universal accessibility (clear language, smooth navigation, mobile compatibility, and RGAA compliance)
- Aligning the platform’s visual identity with the historic brand image of UFC–Que Choisir, while introducing a modern and civic tone
Solution
- Clear and civic design: a simple graphic universe built on strong contrasts (white, blue, red) and accessible iconography inspired by citizen action tools
- Functional site architecture: organization around four main sections — Analyze My Data, Delete My Data, Exercise My Rights, and Telemarketing — guiding users according to their needs
- Intuitive and interactive interface: visible action buttons, simplified tutorials, and explanatory guides written in plain, accessible language
